December 1, 2023: Pewamo, MI 48873 The Pewamo-Westphalia Pirates (Pewamo, MI) basketball knocked off the visiting Nouvel Catholic Central Panthers (Saginaw, MI), 66-46 in Friday's non-league test.
The Pirates (1-0) will now prepare for their test against Laingsburg (Laingsburg, MI). The Wolfpack go into the Central Michigan test with a 1-0 record. In their last test, Laingsburg notched a victory over Haslett (Haslett, MI), 69-48, in a non-league test.
The Panthers now own a 0-2 record. They play next when they travel to Cass City for a non-league test on Saturday, December 2.
