Wisconsin High School Basketball - Wauwatosa East topped by Pius XI Catholic
December 1, 2023: Milwaukee, WI 53213 The Pius XI Catholic Popes basketball team scored 75 points and restricted the visiting Wauwatosa East Red Raiders to 60 in the Popes non-league victory on Friday.
The Popes now sport a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Wisconsin Lutheran for a Woodland - West contest on Tuesday, December 5. Pius XI Catholic will battle a Vikings team coming off a 82-67 non-league win over Arrowhead (Hartland, WI). The Vikings record now stands at 2-0.
The Red Raiders (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against Waunakee (Waunakee, WI). The Warriors come into the non-league contest with a 1-1 record. In their last contest, Waunakee was defeated by Monona Grove (Monona, WI), 64-57, in a league contest.
