December 1, 2023: Pontiac, MI 48340 Pontiac Phoenix (Pontiac, MI) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Southfield Christian Eagles (Southfield, MI), 72-50 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Pontiac upgrades its record to 2-0 on the season. The Phoenix host Berkley (Berkley, MI) to play the Bears in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 5. The Bears go into the bout with a record of 1-1. Berkley won 69-63 in their recent non-league bout against Troy (Troy, MI)
Next up, the Eagles play the Clawson Trojans (Clawson, MI) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 5. Southfield Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Trojans go into the bout with a 1-1 record after their 52-31 non-league loss to Eastpointe (Eastpointe, MI).
