Washington High School Basketball - Powder Valley topped by Trout Lake
December 1, 2023: Trout Lake, WA 98650 The Trout Lake Mustangs basketball team scored 36 points and restricted the visiting Powder Valley Badgers to 28 in the Mustangs non-league victory on Friday.
The Mustangs now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Ione/Arlington for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 2. Trout Lake will battle a Cardinals team coming off a 33-31 non-league win over Joseph (Joseph, OR). The Cardinals record now stands at 1-0.
The Badgers (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against Prairie City (Prairie City, OR). The Panthers come into the non-league contest with a 2-1 record. In their last contest, Prairie City prevailed over Pine Eagle (Halfway, OR), 61-32, in a non-league contest.
