The Shields Panthers (Beatrice, AL) basketball nipped the host T.R. Miller Tigers (Brewton, AL), 42-39 in Friday's non-league test.

The Panthers (2-3) will now prepare for their test against Wilcox Central (Camden, AL). The Jaguars go into the non-league test with a 3-3 record.

The Tigers now own a 2-1 record. They play next when they host Excel for a non-league test on Monday, December 4.
