In Friday's non-league outing, the Skyline Thunderbirds (Pratt, KS) basketball squad felled the host Southwestern Heights Mustangs (Kismet, KS), by a margin of 57-47.

The Thunderbirds (1-0) will now prepare for their outing against Ellinwood (Ellinwood, KS). The Eagles go into the non-league outing with a 0-1 record.

The Mustangs now own a 0-1 record. They play next when they travel to Holcomb for a non-league outing on Tuesday, December 5. Southwestern Heights will encounter a Longhorns squad coming off a 61-34 non-league win over Cimarron (Cimarron, KS). The Longhorns record now stands at 1-0.
