December 1, 2023: Kennett Square, PA 19348 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Unionville Longhorns (Kennett Square, PA) and the visiting Tacony Academy Charter Lions (Philadelphia, PA), saw Unionville's basketball squad wallop Tacony Academy Charter by a tally of 71-33.
With the victory, Unionville improves its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Longhorns travel to Spring-Ford (Royersford, PA) to confront the Rams in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, December 5. The Rams come into the challenge with a record of 1-1. Spring-Ford lost 58-48 in their recent non-league challenge against Parkland (Allentown, PA)
Next up, the Lions confront the Methacton Warriors (Norristown, PA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, December 2. Tacony Academy Charter will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record. The Warriors come into the challenge with a 1-0 record after their 71-54 non-league win over Lancaster Mennonite (Lancaster, PA).
