December 1, 2023: Buckhorn, KY 41721 Betsy Layne Bobcats (Betsy Layne, KY) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Buckhorn Wildcats (Buckhorn, KY), 68-44 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Betsy Layne upgrades its record to 2-0 on the season. The Bobcats host Paintsville (Paintsville, KY) to play the Tigers in a non-league bout on Monday, December 4. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 1-0. Paintsville won 85-67 in their recent non-league bout against Floyd Central (Eastern, KY)
Next up, the Wildcats play the Hazard Bulldogs / Lady Bulldogs (Hazard, KY) in a District 54 bout, on Monday, December 4. Buckhorn will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record.
