December 1, 2023: Venus, TX 76084 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Venus Bulldogs (Venus, TX) and the visiting Carter-Riverside Eagles (Fort Worth, TX), saw Venus's basketball squad wallop Carter-Riverside by a tally of 52-1.
With the victory, Venus improves its record to 7-6 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Peaster (Peaster, TX) to play the Greyhounds in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, December 5. The Greyhounds come into the challenge with a record of 3-7. Peaster won 43-25 in their recent non-league challenge against Wichita Falls (Wichita Falls, TX)
Next up, the Eagles play the Wilmer-Hutchins Eagles (Dallas, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 5. Carter-Riverside will attempt to improve on its 1-8 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 0-4 record after their 61-17 non-league loss to Sunset (Dallas, TX).
