New York High School Basketball - Cassadaga Valley knocked off by Fredonia
December 1, 2023: Sinclairville, NY 14782 The Fredonia Hillbillies basketball team scored 57 points and held the host Cassadaga Valley Cougars to 46 in the Hillbillies non-league triumph on Friday.
The Hillbillies now sport a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Westfield for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 2. Fredonia will meet a Wolverines team coming off a 91-8 non-league win over Brocton (Brocton, NY). The Wolverines record now stands at 1-0.
The Cougars (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against Brocton (Brocton, NY). The Bulldogs enter the non-league contest with a 0-2 record. In their last contest, Brocton was defeated by Westfield (Westfield, NY), 91-8, in a non-league contest.
