Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Cypress Creek Cougars (Houston, TX) and the host Morton Ranch Mavericks (Katy, TX), saw Cypress Creek's basketball squad hold off Morton Ranch by a tally of 47-43.

With the victory, Cypress Creek improves its record to 4-11 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Willis (Willis, TX) to confront the Wildkats in a non-league challenge on Saturday, December 2.
