In Friday's non-league outing, the Downey Vikings (Downey, CA) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Cypress Centurions (Cypress, CA), by a count of 64-34.

The Vikings (5-3) will now prepare for their outing against Villa Park (Villa Park, CA). The Spartans go into the non-league outing with a 4-3 record. In their last outing, Villa Park was crushed by South (Torrance, CA), 49-38, in a non-league outing.
