California High School Basketball - Glendale nips La Canada
December 1, 2023: La Canada, CA 91011 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Glendale Nitros (Glendale, CA) and the host La Canada Spartans (La Canada, CA), saw Glendale's basketball squad hold off La Canada by a count of 50-47.
With the victory, Glendale upgrades its record to 6-1 on the campaign. The Nitros travel to Burroughs (Burbank, CA) to play the Bears in a Pacific challenge on Tuesday, December 5. The Bears come into the challenge with a record of 6-0. Burroughs won 58-19 in their recent non-league challenge against Agoura (Agoura, CA)
Next up, the Spartans play the Flintridge Sacred Heart Tologs (La Canada-Flintridge, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, December 2. La Canada will attempt to upgrade on its 2-4 season record. The Tologs come into the challenge with a 2-4 record after their 54-46 non-league loss to Millikan (Long Beach, CA).
