California High School Basketball - Granite Hills topped by University City

The University City Centurions basketball team scored 39 points and restricted the visiting Granite Hills Eagles to 23 in the Centurions non-league victory on Friday.

The Centurions now sport a 3-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bishop's for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 5. University City will battle a Knights team coming off a 55-51 non-league loss to La Costa Canyon (Carlsbad, CA). The Knights record now stands at 3-1.

The Eagles (0-3) will now prepare for their contest against Mater Dei Catholic (Chula Vista, CA). The Crusaders come into the non-league contest with a 1-3 record. In their last contest, Mater Dei Catholic was defeated by Marlborough (Los Angeles, CA), 67-26, in a non-league contest.
