North Carolina High School Basketball - Mountain Island Charter crushes Queen's Grant

December 1, 2023: Matthews, NC 28105

Mountain Island Charter Raptor (Mt. Holly, NC) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Queen's Grant Stallions (Matthews, NC), 68-12 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Mountain Island Charter upgrades its record to 2-2 on the season. The Raptor host Valor Preparatory Academy (Concord, NC) to play the Owls in a non-league bout on Monday, December 4. The Owls go into the bout with a record of 0-4. Valor Preparatory Academy lost 57-26 in their recent non-league bout against Covenant Classical (Concord, NC)

Next up, the Stallions play the University Christian Barracudas (Hickory, NC) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 8. Queen's Grant will attempt to upgrade on its 0-4 season record. The Barracudas go into the bout with a 1-4 record after their 45-7 non-league win over Lake Lure Classical Academy (Lake Lure, NC).
