The Southwest Raiders basketball team scored 63 points and restricted the visiting Young Women's Leadership Academy Lady Owls to 8 in the Raiders non-league victory on Friday.

The Raiders now sport a 3-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Western Hills for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 5. Southwest will battle a Cougars team coming off a 42-31 non-league loss to Lake Worth (Lake Worth, TX). The Cougars record now stands at 5-8.

The Lady Owls (1-6) will now prepare for their contest against Eastern Hills (Fort Worth, TX). The Highlanders come into the 4A Region II District 9 contest with a 7-5 record.
