Missouri High School Basketball - Webb City can't hold off Sunrise Christian Academy
December 1, 2023: Webb City, MO 64870 The Sunrise Christian Academy Buffaloes basketball team scored 47 points and held the host Webb City Cardinals to 42 in the Buffaloes non-league triumph on Friday.
The Buffaloes now sport a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Carthage for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 2. Sunrise Christian Academy will battle a Tigers team coming off a 41-33 non-league loss to Southside (Fort Smith, AR). The Tigers record now stands at 0-1.
The Cardinals (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against Carl Junction (Carl Junction, MO). The Bulldogs enter the Central Ozarks contest with a 2-0 record. In their last contest, Carl Junction nudged Parkview (Springfield, MO), 37-32, in a non-league contest.
