The Knightdale Knights basketball team scored 39 points and held the host Franklinton Rams to 29 in the Knights non-league triumph on Friday.

The Knights now sport a 5-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Southeast Raleigh for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 5. Knightdale will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 44-31 non-league loss to Heritage (Wake Forest, NC). The Bulldogs record now stands at 1-1.

The Rams (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against Wake Forest (Wake Forest, NC). The Cougars enter the non-league contest with a 0-3 record. In their last contest, Wake Forest was defeated by Broughton (Raleigh, NC), 49-13, in a non-league contest.
