E.E. Smith Golden Bulls (Fayetteville, NC) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Jack Britt Buccaneers (Fayetteville, NC), 62-39 in a non-league bout.

With the win, E.E. Smith upgrades its record to 2-1 on the season. The Golden Bulls host Triton (Erwin, NC) to play the Hawks in a bout on Tuesday, December 5. The Hawks go into the bout with a record of 1-1. Triton lost 60-35 in their recent non-league bout against Cape Fear (Fayetteville, NC)

Next up, the Buccaneers play the Red Springs Red Devils (Red Springs, NC) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 5. Jack Britt will attempt to upgrade on its 2-3 season record. The Red Devils go into the bout with a 0-3 record after their 66-31 non-league loss to Hoke County (Raeford, NC).
