Las Plumas Thunderbirds (Oroville, CA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Hamilton Braves (Hamilton City, CA), 62-12 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Las Plumas upgrades its record to 3-1 on the campaign. The Thunderbirds travel to Yreka (Yreka, CA) to play the Miners in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 2. The Miners come into the bout with a record of 2-1. Yreka won 52-31 in their recent non-league bout against Corning (Corning, CA)

Next up, the Braves play the Corning Cardinals (Corning, CA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 2. Hamilton will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Cardinals come into the bout with a 0-3 record after their 52-31 non-league loss to Yreka (Yreka, CA).
