Nevada High School Basketball - White Pine nips Pershing County
December 1, 2023: Lovelock, NV 89419 White Pine Bobcats (Ely, NV) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Pershing County Mustangs (Lovelock, NV), 32-30 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, White Pine upgrades its record to 1-1 on the campaign. The Bobcats travel to Yerington (Yerington, NV) to play the Lions in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 2. The Lions come into the bout with a record of 0-1. Yerington lost 31-16 in their recent non-league bout against Mineral County (Hawthorne, NV)
Next up, the Mustangs play the Smith Valley Bulldogs (Smith, NV) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 2. Pershing County will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record.
