California High School Soccer - Avalon knocks off Buckley
December 2, 2023: Avalon, CA 90704 Avalon Lancers (Avalon, CA) fans were thrilled Saturday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Buckley Griffins (Sherman Oaks, CA), 8-2 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Lancers face the Tarbut V' Torah Lions (Irvine, CA) in a San Joaquin challenge, on Tuesday, December 5. Avalon will attempt to better on its 2-1 season record. The Lions enter the challenge with a 3-2 record after their 1-0 non-league loss to Legacy College Prep (Santa Ana, CA).
The Griffins now have a 0-3 record. They take the field next when they host Milken for a Liberty challenge on Wednesday, December 6. Buckley will face a Wildcats team coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Castaic (Castaic, CA). The Wildcats record now stands at 1-2.
