December 1, 2024: Lower Burrell, PA 15068 Burrell Bucs (Lower Burrell, PA) supporters left the game satisfied Sunday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting Steel Valley Ironmen (Munhall, PA), 57-9 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Burrell advances its record to 2-0 on the year. The Bucs travel to South Allegheny (McKeesport, PA) to face the Gladiators in a non-league match on Tuesday, December 3. The Gladiators enter the match with a record of 0-0.
The Ironmen now own a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Geibel Catholic for a non-league match on Friday, December 6. Steel Valley will meet a Gators squad coming off a 71-27 non-league win over Southmoreland (Alverton, PA). The Gators record now stands at 3-0.
