Texas High School Basketball - Covenant Classical can't hold off Yavneh Academy

December 1, 2025: Fort Worth, TX 76108

Yavneh Academy Bulldogs (Dallas, TX) supporters left the game happy Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the host Covenant Classical Cavaliers (Fort Worth, TX), 50-47 in a non-league contest.

The Bulldogs (4-1) will now prepare for their contest against Maimonides (Brookline, MA). The M-Cats go into the non-league contest with a 0-0 record.

In their next game, the Cavaliers battle the Grace Community Cougars (Tyler, TX) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, December 4. Covenant Classical will attempt to better on its 3-6 season record. The Cougars go into the contest with a 7-2 record after their 52-47 non-league win over Tyler HEAT (Tyler, TX).
