Texas High School Basketball - Nacogdoches holds off Huntsville
December 1, 2025: Nacogdoches, TX 75965 The Nacogdoches Dragons basketball team scored 66 points and limited the visiting Huntsville Hornets to 65 in the Dragons non-league triumph on Monday.
The Dragons now have a 7-2 record. They play next when they host Jacksonville for a 5A Region II District 10 outing on Tuesday, December 9. Nacogdoches will clash with a Fightin' Indians squad coming off a 64-53 non-league win over Hudson (Lufkin, TX). The Fightin' Indians record now stands at 3-6.
The Hornets (0-3) will now prepare for their outing against Bryan (Bryan, TX). The Vikings enter the non-league outing with a 4-1 record. In their last outing, Bryan got by MacArthur (Houston, TX), 77-54, in a non-league outing.
