The Jay County Patriots basketball team scored 56 points and limited the visiting Richmond Red Devils to 53 in the Patriots non-league triumph on Monday.

The Patriots now possess a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Woodlan for a Allen County test on Friday, December 5. Jay County will clash with a Warriors squad coming off a 55-47 non-league win over Garrett (Garrett, IN). The Warriors record now stands at 2-1.

The Red Devils (1-1) will now prepare for their test against Phalen Leadership Academy (Indianapolis, IN). The Falcon come into the non-league test with a 1-1 record. In their last test, Phalen Leadership Academy held off Tindley (Indianapolis, IN), 62-52, in a non-league test.
