Ohio High School Basketball - Waynedale knocks off West Holmes
December 1, 2025: Apple Creek, OH 44606 The crowd at Monday's non-league challenge between the Waynedale Golden Bears (Apple Creek, OH) and the visiting West Holmes Knights (Millersburg, OH), observed Waynedale's basketball team overcome West Holmes by a score of 40-31.
The Golden Bears (2-2) will now prepare for their battle against Northwestern (West Salem, OH). The Huskies enter the Wayne County battle with a 0-3 record. In their last battle, Northwestern lost by Triway (Wooster, OH), 48-21, in a non-league battle.
The Knights now own a 0-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host New Philadelphia for a Ohio Cardinal battle on Wednesday, December 3. West Holmes will meet a Quakers squad coming off a 50-42 non-league win over Fairless (Navarre, OH). The Quakers record now stands at 3-0.
