December 1, 2025: Fernley, NV 89408 The crowd at Monday's non-league challenge between the Fernley Vaqueros (Fernley, NV) and the visiting Reed Raiders (Sparks, NV), observed Fernley's basketball team overwhelm Reed by a score of 57-9.
The Vaqueros (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Lassen (Susanville, CA). The Grizzlies come into the non-league challenge with a 1-1 record. In their last challenge, Lassen trounced Modoc (Alturas, CA), 35-20, in a non-league battle.
The Raiders now own a 0-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Carson for a non-league battle on Tuesday, December 2. Reed will meet a Senators squad coming off a 43-9 non-league win over South Tahoe (South Lake Tahoe, CA). The Senators record now stands at 1-0.
