Louisiana High School Basketball - Varnado can't hold off Sci Academy
December 10, 2021: Angie, LA 70426 The Varnado Wildcats basketball team (Angie, LA), was nudged 59-55 in Friday's non-league battle with the visiting Sci Academy Commodores (New Orleans, LA)
The Commodores now sport a 4-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to New Orleans Military & Maritime Academy for a non-league battle on Monday, December 13. Sci Academy will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 66-52 non-league loss to Belaire (Baton Rouge, LA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 2-1.
The Wildcats (4-6) will now prepare for their battle against Vandebilt Catholic (Houma, LA). The Terriers come into the non-league battle with a 3-6 record. In their last battle, Vandebilt Catholic was nudged by Central Lafourche (Raceland, LA), 51-40, in a non-league battle.
