West Virginia High School Basketball - Capital holds off Wheeling Park
December 10, 2021: Charleston, WV 25311 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Capital Cougars (Charleston, WV) and the visiting Wheeling Park Patriots (Wheeling, WV), saw Capital's basketball squad hold off Wheeling Park by a tally of 57-50.
With the victory, Capital improves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to University (Morgantown, WV) to confront the Hawks in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 17. The Hawks come into the challenge with a record of 1-0.
Next up, the Patriots confront the Bridgeport Indians (Bridgeport, WV) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, December 11. Wheeling Park will attempt to improve on its 0-2 season record.
