Ohio High School Basketball - Springfield tops Crestview
December 10, 2021: New Middletown, OH 44442 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Springfield Tigers (New Middletown, OH) and the visiting Crestview Rebels (Columbiana, OH), saw Springfield's basketball squad knock off Crestview by a count of 72-61.
With the victory, Springfield upgrades its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Tigers host McKinley (Sebring, OH) to play the Trojans in a Mahoning Valley - Scarlet challenge on Tuesday, December 14. The Trojans come into the challenge with a record of 3-1. McKinley won 57-26 in their recent non-league challenge against Kingsway Christian (Orrville, OH)
Next up, the Rebels play the Liberty Leopards (Youngstown, OH) in a Mahoning Valley - Grey challenge, on Tuesday, December 14. Crestview will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record. The Leopards come into the challenge with a 1-2 record after their 76-42 non-league loss to Archbishop Hoban (Akron, OH).
