In Friday's non-league outing, the Keene Chargers (Keene, TX) basketball squad edged the visiting Saginaw Rough Riders (Saginaw, TX), by a count of 72-68.

The Chargers (2-5) will now prepare for their outing against Martins Mill (Ben Wheeler, TX). The Mustangs go into the non-league outing with a 7-2 record. In their last outing, Martins Mill was tipped by Commerce (Commerce, TX), 70-64, in a non-league outing.
