December 10, 2021: La Habra, CA 90631 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the South Spartans (Torrance, CA) and the host Whittier Christian Heralds (La Habra, CA), saw South's basketball squad overcome Whittier Christian by a tally of 53-42.
With the victory, South improves its record to 7-6 on the campaign. The Spartans travel to Roosevelt (Los Angeles, CA) to confront the Rough Riders in a non-league challenge on Monday, December 20. The Rough Riders come into the challenge with a record of 10-2. Roosevelt won 75-40 in their recent league challenge against Huntington Park (Huntington Park, CA)
Next up, the Heralds confront the Esperanza Aztecs (Anaheim, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 14. Whittier Christian will attempt to improve on its 8-3 season record. The Aztecs come into the challenge with a 4-5 record after their 53-42 non-league loss to South (Torrance, CA).
