December 10, 2021: Kimberly, AL 35091 Mortimer Jordan Blue Devils (Kimberly, AL) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Bessemer City Tigers (Bessemer, AL), 77-21 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Mortimer Jordan upgrades its record to 8-2 on the season. The Blue Devils host Midfield (Midfield, AL) to clash with the Patriots in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 16. The Patriots go into the bout with a record of 8-1.
Next up, the Tigers clash with the Gardendale Rockets (Gardendale, AL) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 14. Bessemer City will attempt to improve on its 1-9 season record. The Rockets come into the challenge with a 1-5 record after their 57-21 non-league loss to Jasper (Jasper, AL).
