Louisiana High School Basketball - Carencro tops Comeaux
December 10, 2021: Lafayette, LA 70508 Carencro Bears (Lafayette, LA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Comeaux Spartans (Lafayette, LA), 56-43 in a non-league game.
In their next game, the Bears face the Lafayette Lions (Lafayette, LA) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, December 14. Carencro will attempt to move on its 7-2 season record. The Lions enter the game with a 7-1 record after their 67-59 non-league win over Lafayette Christian Academy (Lafayette, LA).
With the defeat, Comeaux moves to 1-9 on the year. The Spartans host Central Catholic (Morgan City, LA) to face the Eagles in a non-league game on Monday, December 13. The Eagles enter the game with a record of 5-3. Central Catholic lost 45-37 in their recent non-league game against Terrebonne (Houma, LA)
