Alabama High School Basketball - Oak Grove trounced by Cornerstone
December 10, 2021: Bessemer, AL 35023 The Cornerstone Eagles overwhelmed the host Oak Grove Tigers basketball squad by a margin of 45-12 in Friday's non-league outing.
The Eagles (2-5) will now prepare for their outing against John Carroll Catholic (Birmingham, AL). The Cavaliers go into the non-league outing with a 5-5 record. In their last outing, John Carroll Catholic was trounced by Westminster School at Oak Mountain (Birmingham, AL), 32-25, in a non-league outing.
The Tigers now own a 2-7 record. They play next when they host Sumiton Christian for a non-league outing on Tuesday, December 14. Oak Grove will clash with a Eagles squad coming off a 63-26 league win over Victory Christian (Pell City, AL). The Eagles record now stands at 5-3.
