Louisiana High School Basketball - Washington-Marion topped by Grand Lake
December 10, 2021: Lake Charles, LA 70607 The Grand Lake Hornets basketball team scored 51 points and restricted the visiting Washington-Marion Charging Indians to 39 in the Hornets non-league victory on Friday.
The Hornets now sport a 3-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Vinton for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 14. Grand Lake will battle a Lions team coming off a 79-41 non-league loss to Starks (Starks, LA). The Lions record now stands at 0-3.
The Charging Indians (0-6) will now prepare for their contest against Northwest (Opelousas, LA). The Raiders come into the non-league contest with a 2-3 record. In their last contest, Northwest was defeated by Oak Hill (Hineston, LA), 73-54, in a non-league contest.
