Alabama High School Basketball - Spain Park tops Homewood
December 10, 2021: Hoover, AL 35242 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Spain Park Jaguars (Hoover, AL) and the visiting Homewood Patriots (Homewood, AL), saw Spain Park's basketball squad knock off Homewood by a tally of 47-32.
With the victory, Spain Park improves its record to 3-9 on the campaign. The Jaguars travel to Tuscaloosa County (Northport, AL) to play the Wildcats in a non-league challenge on Monday, December 13. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a record of 5-2. Tuscaloosa County lost 47-31 in their recent non-league challenge against Central (Tuscaloosa, AL)
Next up, the Patriots play the Paul W. Bryant Stampede (Cottondale, AL) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, December 11. Homewood will attempt to improve on its 8-5 season record. The Stampede come into the challenge with a 6-3 record after their 52-24 non-league win over Holy Spirit Catholic (Tuscaloosa, AL).
