Laconia Sachems (Laconia, NH) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Oyster River Bobcats (Durham, NH), 73-39 in a league bout.

With the win, Laconia upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Sachems travel to Hanover (Hanover, NH) to clash with the Marauders in a Division II bout on Monday, December 20. The Marauders go into the bout with a record of 1-0.

Next up, the Bobcats clash with the Milford Spartans (Milford, NH) in a Division II bout, on Wednesday, January 12. Oyster River will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
