Louisiana High School Basketball - Pickering nips Mamou
December 10, 2021: Mamou, LA 70554 Pickering Red Devils (Leesville, LA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Mamou Demons (Mamou, LA), 58-52 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Pickering upgrades its record to 2-2 on the campaign. The Red Devils host Hackberry (Hackberry, LA) to play the Mustangs in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 14. The Mustangs come into the bout with a record of 3-3.
Next up, the Demons play the Oberlin Tigers (Oberlin, LA) in a non-league bout, on Monday, December 13. Mamou will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record. The Tigers come into the bout with a 2-1 record after their 68-39 non-league win over St. Edmund (Eunice, LA).
