Alabama High School Basketball - Colbert County overwhelms Cherokee
December 10, 2021: Cherokee, AL 35616 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Colbert County Indians (Leighton, AL) and the host Cherokee Indians (Cherokee, AL), saw Colbert County's basketball squad wallop Cherokee by a tally of 69-19.
With the victory, Colbert County improves its record to 1-4 on the campaign. The Indians travel to Sheffield (Sheffield, AL) to confront the Bulldogs in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, December 14. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 2-2. Sheffield lost 46-43 in their recent non-league challenge against Mars Hill Bible (Florence, AL)
Next up, the Indians confront the R.A. Hubbard Chiefs (Courtland, AL) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, December 13. Cherokee will attempt to improve on its 0-5 season record. The Chiefs come into the challenge with a 3-1 record after their 38-30 non-league win over Waterloo (Waterloo, AL).
