The Oakwood Academy Mustangs basketball team scored 68 points and held the visiting Alabama School of Cyber Technology and Engineering Sentinels to 42 in the Mustangs non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Mustangs now sport a 8-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Athens Bible for a 1A Area 15 contest on Tuesday, December 13. Oakwood Academy will meet a Trojans team coming off a 76-60 league win over Valley Head (Valley Head, AL). The Trojans record now stands at 3-2.
The Sentinels (0-2) will now prepare for their contest against Lindsay Lane Christian Academy (Athens, AL). The enter the 2A Area 14 contest with a 6-4 record. In their last contest, Lindsay Lane Christian Academy was routed by Tanner (Tanner, AL), 64-42, in a league contest.
