New York High School Basketball - Albany Academy for Boys tipped by Canisius

December 10, 2022: Buffalo, NY 14209

The Canisius Crusaders basketball team scored 54 points and held the visiting Albany Academy for Boys Cadets to 48 in the Crusaders non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Crusaders now sport a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to St. Joseph's Collegiate Institute for a Monsignor Martin contest on Tuesday, December 13. Canisius will meet a Marauders team coming off a 79-76 non-league loss to Holy Trinity (Hicksville, NY). The Marauders record now stands at 1-2.

The Cadets (2-1) will now prepare for their contest against Utica Academy of Science (Utica, NY). The Atoms enter the non-league contest with a 1-3 record. In their last contest, Utica Academy of Science was nudged by Bishop Timon-St. Jude (Buffalo, NY), 80-50, in a non-league contest.
