Michigan High School Basketball - St. Francis holds off Canton
December 10, 2022: Traverse City, MI 49684 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the St. Francis Gladiators (Traverse City, MI) and the visiting Canton Chiefs (Canton, MI), saw St. Francis's basketball squad hold off Canton by a tally of 62-56.
With the victory, St. Francis improves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Gladiators host Harbor Springs (Harbor Springs, MI) to confront the Rams in a Lake Michigan challenge on Thursday, December 15. The Rams come into the challenge with a record of 0-1. Harbor Springs lost 64-62 in their recent non-league challenge against Inland Lakes (Indian River, MI)
Next up, the Chiefs confront the Hamtramck Cosmos (Hamtramck, MI) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 13. Canton will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record.
