The Castle Knights basketball team scored 70 points and restricted the visiting Floyd Central Highlanders to 48 in the Knights non-league victory on Saturday.

The Knights now sport a 1-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Evansville Reitz for a Southern Indiana contest on Friday, December 16. Castle will battle a Panthers team coming off a 63-58 league win over Evansville North (Evansville, IN). The Panthers record now stands at 3-0.

The Highlanders (1-2) will now prepare for their contest against Providence (Clarksville, IN). The Pioneers come into the non-league contest with a 2-2 record. In their last contest, Providence was routed by Scottsburg (Scottsburg, IN), 45-42, in a non-league contest.
