Texas High School Basketball - Nixon can't hold off Cedar Park

The Cedar Park Timberwolves basketball team scored 49 points and held the visiting Nixon Mustangs to 45 in the Timberwolves non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Timberwolves now sport a 5-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Cedar Creek for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 13. Cedar Park will battle a Eagles team coming off a 75-64 non-league loss to Burnet (Burnet, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 13-2.

The Mustangs (8-9) will now prepare for their contest against Eagle Pass (Eagle Pass, TX). The Eagles enter the non-league contest with a 10-7 record.
