The Freer Buckaroos (Freer, TX) basketball nipped the host Charlotte Trojans (Charlotte, TX), 46-41 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Buckaroos (5-3) will now prepare for their test against Benavides (Benavides, TX). The Eagles go into the non-league test with a 3-4 record.

The Trojans now own a 5-7 record. They play next when they host D'Hanis for a non-league test on Tuesday, December 13. Charlotte will encounter a Cowboys squad coming off a 88-48 non-league win over Brune (Leakey, TX). The Cowboys record now stands at 5-2.
