California High School Basketball - Charter Oak topped by Pomona
December 10, 2022: Pomona, CA 91767 The Pomona Red Devils basketball team scored 61 points and restricted the visiting Charter Oak Chargers to 52 in the Red Devils non-league victory on Saturday.
The Red Devils now sport a 2-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Whittier for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 13. Pomona will battle a Cardinals team coming off a 76-59 non-league win over Cabrillo (Long Beach, CA). The Cardinals record now stands at 6-3.
The Chargers (4-7) will now prepare for their contest against Bell Gardens (Bell Gardens, CA). The Lancers come into the non-league contest with a 2-7 record. In their last contest, Bell Gardens prevailed over Cantwell-Sacred Heart of Mary (Montebello, CA), 49-45, in a non-league contest.
