Indiana High School Basketball - Linton-Stockton topped by Cooper
December 10, 2022: Linton, IN 47441 The Cooper Jaguars basketball team scored 73 points and restricted the host Linton-Stockton Miners to 61 in the Jaguars non-league victory on Saturday.
The Jaguars now sport a 3-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Simon Kenton for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 13. Cooper will battle a Pioneers team coming off a 62-49 non-league loss to DeSales (Louisville, KY). The Pioneers record now stands at 3-2.
The Miners (4-1) will now prepare for their contest against Shakamak (Jasonville, IN). The Lakers come into the Southwestern Indiana contest with a 3-2 record. In their last contest, Shakamak prevailed over Washington Catholic (Washington, IN), 74-41, in a non-league contest.
