Covenant Christian Warriors (Indianapolis, IN) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Traders Point Christian Knights (Whitestown, IN), 44-40 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Covenant Christian upgrades its record to 5-1 on the campaign. The Warriors host Indianapolis Bishop Chatard (Indianapolis, IN) to play the Trojans in a Circle City bout on Friday, December 16. The Trojans come into the bout with a record of 1-0. Indianapolis Bishop Chatard won 58-55 in their recent league bout against Heritage Christian (Indianapolis, IN)

Next up, the Knights play the Horizon Christian (Indianapolis, IN) in a Freelance bout, on Tuesday, December 13. Traders Point Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 4-1 season record. The come into the bout with a 7-3 record after their 61-56 non-league win over Indianapolis Northwest HomeSchool Warriors (Indianapolis, IN).
